After stints in Tokyo and New York, the fash-pack are flocking to London’s Saatchi Gallery to witness the eagerly awaited Little Black Jacket exhibition by Karl Lagerfeld. I happen to fall into that category as I rushed down there, closest girly friends in tow, at the first chance I got. The space was filled with vast monochrome portraits of a selection of more than 100 of Lagerfeld’s famous muses and friends (113 to be exact), including Georgia Mai Jagger, Natalia Vodianova, Sarah-Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour to name a few, all adorned with Chanel’s iconic ‘Little Black Jacket’. I mean who’d have thought such a simple adornment would become so famously celebrated among fashionista’s around the world?
Here’s a peak at some of the stunning portraits all exquisitely styled by Carine Roitfeld…
The exhibition is in London for a limited time only so get down there quickly as it closes on October 18th – why not even make it the perfect excuse for a girls day out on the Kings Road, shopping lunch an’all!
